Situé au centre du quartier de la Falaise à Avoriaz, le Chalet Neva est un chalet spacieux et privé, ski in/ski out depuis la porte d'entrée, avec 4 chambres, 3 ½ salles de bain, 2 salons et un sauna privé pour 8 à 10 personnes. Profitez des vues spectaculaires depuis le grand balcon et les fenêtres panoramiques. Après une journée de ski, détendez-vous dans son sauna privé ou blottissez-vous sur les canapés confortables avec tapis, tapis épais et plaids douillets. Passez une bonne nuit de sommeil dans les lits confortables avec matelas à ressorts et literie en coton égyptien ultra fin. Avec un casier à skis privé et des sèche-chaussures, vous pouvez dire adieu au transport de votre équipement et aux doigts et orteils mouillés. Une variété de magasins, restaurants, boulangerie, location de ski, supermarché et école de ski se trouvent tous à moins de 100 mètres. Tous nos chalets à La Falaise, Avoriaz, sont à deux pas les uns des autres et sont d'excellentes options pour réserver entre amis !

La cuisine moderne et équipée est équipée d'appareils BOSCH entièrement intégrés, dont un grand four, une plaque à induction, un micro-ondes, un grand réfrigérateur-congélateur, un lave-vaisselle, une bouilloire électrique, un grille-pain, une machine à raclette et une machine Nespresso. Il y a suffisamment de vaisselle, de couverts et de verres pour 10 personnes et une large gamme d'aides à la cuisine et d'ustensiles de cuisine. Une sélection de thé, sucre, café, sel, poivre, herbes, papier aluminium, pastilles pour lave-vaisselle, produits de nettoyage et papier toilette sont fournis.
Le chalet est décoré dans un style alpin moderne et chaleureux avec des tapis épais, des tapis, des coussins et des plaids pour vous blottir dans votre vraie maison tout en profitant de la vue imprenable sur les montagnes depuis les fenêtres panoramiques et le balcon.

A l'étage il y a encore une chambre double et une chambre avec lits superposés attenante (veuillez noter que le lit superposé supérieur à cet étage a une hauteur de tête réduite en raison d'un plafond en pente). Les lits sont tous de vrais lits avec des matelas à ressorts ensachés épais et confortables, des couettes et des oreillers en duvet d'oie hongrois et une literie en coton égyptien ultra-fin. Le canapé-lit extra-large du salon s'ouvre rapidement et est entièrement préfabriqué. Les rideaux sont très épais avec une doublure occultante pour que vous ne soyez pas réveillé par le soleil du matin.

Location is perfection - so easy to ski in/out, glorious bakery nearby and the supermarket across the way. Boot warmers were handy and it's a nice, spacious entry which helps when you're trying to untangle kids from boots, etc!

In-house team, Sophie & Luca were really lovely, nothing was too much trouble - we had a few issues while there and they sorted things - excellent communication! Chalet is warm, and cosy, and what a view of the village - honestly, the location is to die for! The chalet comfortably sleeps 8 - anymore would be a real squeeze, (we were a party of 8 plus a baby) - and although the little cosy den for the kids was brilliant, it is a bit of a squeeze with everyone in the kitchen. We would definitely stay again though - it really was brilliant - thank you to Nikki and team! |

We stayed here a good few years ago and it was very nice but since being upgraded it is now even better. The main living room faces the village centre giving a lovely evening atmosphere with all the lights of the centre. The balcony gets the sun mostplus

The balcony gets the sun most of the day but it drops below the next door building later on. The two double bedrooms are a good size for a compact chalet and the two bunk rooms are fine. All dealing with Avoriaz Chalets were excellent.

Although it could sleep 10 people with two sleeping in the living room the main living/kitchen/dinner would be quite uncomfortable for seating and dinning. Eight people would probably be quite comfortable. I don't think this can or needs improving onplus

The location is inside an area called Falaise - French for the cliff. There are supermarket, a great boulangerie and a ski rental store right next door, as well as a couple of restaurants and a laundromat. The ESF ski school is within a 5 minutes walk, and the main promenade is just after that, so very close, yet apart. Great ski-out - in 2 different directions - and reasonable ski-in (you have maybe 50m of flat to overcome). The views are spectacular. The property is recently renovated, with sauna, bathtub, shower and 2 toilets, fully equipped kitchen and anteroom with boots dryer etc. All in all, a great chalet.

There isn't a lot of space. In fact, the property listed as good for 10 people, but that would be cramming it. We were 7, and I think this is the ideal size of a party for this chalet. Some corners were cut in interest of space efficiency. For examplplus

Some corners were cut in interest of space efficiency. For example, a washing machine is listed, but it's virtually unusable, being blocked by a sofa bed. Placing everyone around the dinner table was a bit of a challenge. There were some maintenance issues - some chairs were rickety, 2 times during the week maintenance people were summoned, but these are minor issues in an otherwise very cozy and comfortable property.

S'avonds kwamen er nog 3 vrienden bij om te eten en spelletjes te spelen. Het was ruim genoeg. De ligging was super, met een afdaling links en een recht voor ons. Met deze afdalingen kwam je uit bij de liften die je het hele gebied in brachten. Terug kwam je al skiënd tot aan de deur. Volgend jaar hopelijk weer!

Avoriaz over Christmas was lovely, and this apartment, spread over 2 floors, suited us perfectly. Beds comfy, including the best sofa bed I have ever come across, bathrooms very good, kitchen fine for our needs, with everything you would expect. Fantplus

There is a good size ski store and heated boot room, and big heated towel rails were well used for drying out kids wet gloves etc. Quiet a good amount of wardrobe and storage space as well, though the bedrooms were very small. The hosts were very helpful and chose a superb restaurant for our Christmas Eve dinner. The Ski hire shop is 2 minutes walk, as are the convenience store and bakery. The main arrival point is only a little bit further.

Philip and Nikki are great hosts and you can really tell they put a lot of thought in the aesthetics of the chalet. Will definitely stay with Avoriaz Chalets again.

I can't recommend Avoriaz Chalets enough! The management and welcome team were all very helpful and accommodating, nothing was too much trouble. The chalet itself was spacious, beautifully decorated with high quality furnishings and home comforts. Asplus
I can't recommend Avoriaz Chalets enough! The management and welcome team were all very helpful and accommodating, nothing was too much trouble. The chalet itself was spacious, beautifully decorated with high quality furnishings and home comforts. As a family, chalet Neva was great given that we were able to ski straight to the front door at the end of the day, no messing about with carrying skis and equipment. Our friends booked Chalet des Ardoisieres (same company) which was just around the corner from us and with an outdoor scenic hot tub. The close proximity allowed us to enjoy going away on holiday as one big group whilst not living on top of each other which worked out a treat. I am already excited to return to this magical place again next year!

At last we've found that elusive Avoriaz pad that offers a lot more than somewhere just to sleep after a hard day of piste bashing, but still relatively good value by skiing standards! Ideal for 6 of us, might have been a bit tight for 8, although toplus
At last we've found that elusive Avoriaz pad that offers a lot more than somewhere just to sleep after a hard day of piste bashing, but still relatively good value by skiing standards! Ideal for 6 of us, might have been a bit tight for 8, although to be fair the details do say this. Well equipped and as described, with everything working, we were happy and able to eat in every other night and enjoy a DVD before collapsing into the lovely comfy beds. Nicky, Philip and their team were all excellent, great communication before the trip and very accessible and helpful when we were there. Nothing seemed too much trouble. We'll be back!

Chalet Neva was better than it appeared in the pictures as it has had a recent refurbishment with new carpets, curtains and refitted bathrooms. Nikki and Phil were extremely nice and were there to welcome us. The beds were really comfy and the position of the chalet was great, close to a supermarket, patisserie, right by a tiny nursery slope and a short cut to a ski run, and walking distance to the ESF ski school. It is small, but I think not unusually so for Avoriaz, but 5 of us (2 children aged 9&6) managed fine. We unfortunately had some noise trouble from an adjoining chalet, which seemingly was very unusual. But in fairness Nikki did her best to deal with this and I suspect all of the apartments/chalets suffer from some degree of this. All in all we had a great stay and I would recommend not just the chalet, but definitely the resort if you are skiing with young children.

The additional third bedroom this year was great for two reasons 1) we could invite along two more family members and 2) we got to sleep in a double bed (it would have been our turn again for the bunk beds!) Great location - close to the supermarket where you can buy fabby food and drink and straight on to the slopes from the chalet. We really do enjoy this annual winter / ski holiday ... the chalet is cosy and comfortable with all mod cons which, for self-caterers like us, is perfect. Finally, the booking is so well organised by Nikki and Philip - makes it a stress-free holiday and once in the resort, they do look after us well. Thank you, see you next year!

Even better than the description is not something which is often true, but in this case the chalet lived up to our expectations and more. Warm your ski boots on the convenient boot warmer, step out the front door and there is the piste, which leads dplus
Even better than the description is not something which is often true, but in this case the chalet lived up to our expectations and more. Warm your ski boots on the convenient boot warmer, step out the front door and there is the piste, which leads down to the ski lifts going in all directions. Not only is the chalet convenient for the slopes, but an excellent bakery is barely a minute's walk away, there are cafés and shops two minutes away and even the main arrival area is only about 5 minutes walk, if that. Five minutes or so in the opposite direction will find you in the centre of Avoriaz - cafés, shops, post office, tourist info, church, tropical swimming centre . . . The kitchen has everything you need for self-catering, the sofas are comfortable, the two bath/shower rooms are both beautifully fitted (including heated towel rails) and the goose down duvets make the beds really comfortable. Although the bedrooms are compact, the built-in storage cupboards are neat and capacious. The chalet is part of a small apartment block, but you feel very independent. The bedrooms are at entry level, yet, because of the slope, this is actually the second floor and the living area is above. This means that there are fantastic views from the living room and balcony. Nikki and Philip are charming and helpful hosts. We would most certainly recommend this chalet to anyone and are hopeful to make a return visit ourselves! Judith, Richard, Harriet and Eleanor
