Comfortable and charming 4 star ski in/ski out apartment for 4 to 6 people. Located at the Falaise area in Avoriaz, and facing south, Chamois enjoys spectacular views from its 8th floor balcony and panoramic windows. Relax in comfortable beds and sofas with carpets, thick rugs, cosy throws and cushions. With the added benefit of a private ski locker and boot dryers, you can say goodbye to carrying equipment and cold, wet fingers and toes. A selection of shops, supermarket, restaurants, ski hire & bakery are all within 50 metres.
The layout
This 2 bedroom 2 bathroom duplex 8th floor apartment is arranged over 2 floors with lift access. On the main floor – entrance with boot dryers, bathroom, separate toilet, kitchen, dining area, living room, laundry facility, access to balcony. Stairs lead to the upper floor with a double bedroom, bunk bedroom, shower room and toilet.
Kitchen
Fitted out to a high standard, the modern kitchen is equipped with fully integrated BOSCH appliances, including a multifunction oven, 4-burner ceramic hob, microwave, large fridge with freezer, dishwasher, electric kettle, toaster, coffee maker, electric mixer and raclette machine. There is enough crockery, cutlery and glasses for 6 people, as well as a wide range of cooking aids and utensils. Tea, coffee, salt, pepper, herbs, foil, dishwasher tablets, cleaning materials and toilet paper are provided.
Living / dining area
The dining and living area happily accommodate 6 people seated at the table and on the comfortable sofas. The décor is warm and cosy Alpine style, with rugs, plaids and cushions.
Wifi and TV
Free fibre-optic Wi-Fi. Flat-screen TV with cable channels, DVD player and free video library with a good selection of films of all genres, available in most European languages.
Bedrooms
2 bedrooms, 1 double and 1 bunk, all with proper beds with thick, comfortable sprung mattresses, Hungarian goose down duvets and pillows and super fine Egyptian cotton bedding. 2 further single sofa beds in the living room convert quickly and can also be combined into a double bed. The curtains are all super thick with blackout lining, so you are not disturbed by the morning sun.
Bathrooms
With 2 bathrooms and 2 toilets, one on each floor, there will be no rush in the morning. Complimentary toiletries and towels are provided in all the bathrooms.

Nothing more to add to the lovely accommodation that hadn’t already been thoughtfully considered. Possibly some more English speaking TV channels (but we didn’t really need them). Enjoyed the heated boot area in this accommodation.

This is a very nice flat ideally positioned close to the car park at the top of Avoriaz, with a beginners slope on your doorstep, ski shop 50 metres, bakers 25 meters, supermarket 25 metres, and a 3 minute walk to the underground car park. Super viewsee more
This is a very nice flat ideally positioned close to the car park at the top of Avoriaz, with a beginners slope on your doorstep, ski shop 50 metres, bakers 25 meters, supermarket 25 metres, and a 3 minute walk to the underground car park. Super view from the living room. One double bed, one room with bunks and then pull out bed/sofa for 2 people to sleep in the living area, if you wish. Good rack for drying all your ski boots by the front door, locker room for the skis in the basement takes you out on to the piste. Clip in and go.

A very well maintained apartment, very clean and extremely well equipped. Close to the Sherpa supermarket and bakery - so no excuse to cook some lovely food in the apartment as there is every utensil that is needed. A great company ‘Avoriaz Chalets’ to deal with and thanks to Nikki and staff for being so helpful during our stay. We have even booked again!

I have lost count of the number of weeks spent in this apartment both pre and post renovation. The family love it and the resort for its very varied skiing area. It has to be one of the most convenient in resort being a short level walk from the arrisee more
I have lost count of the number of weeks spent in this apartment both pre and post renovation. The family love it and the resort for its very varied skiing area. It has to be one of the most convenient in resort being a short level walk from the arrival area. The views are lovely and the access to all the ski lifts is easy. Very ski in ski out. The immediate area is usually quiet with recently refurbished supermarket, bakery, ski hire, restaurants and bars nearby. There is more entertainment, an excellent leisure pool and shops in the town centre a short walk away. It is a short, easy walk to ESF ski school on the plateau and a little further to the creche across the plateau. The appartment is most attractive and is smart, clean, well appointed and cosy. Beds are very comfortable and there is an excellent full oven and hob, dishwasher, good size fridge freezer and washing machine. Along with plenty of crockery, glasses, pans, dishes and utensils, self catering is easy. Wifi is good. TV can be interrupted in bad weather but Nikki has plenty of DVDs free to loan. The boot drying racks are a real luxury - warm dry boots in the morning which are easy to put on - bliss!! Nikki, Phil and the team are very welcoming, helpful and efficient. Any problems are quickly resolved. Really looking forward to our next visit.

Our apartment was very modern and clean and was right next to the ski slopes which was amazing as didn't have far to walk. There are restaurants and a supermarket nearby, as well as a swimming pool which our son thoroughly enjoyed. Absolutely brilliasee more

The location is wonderful; ski-in, ski-out and in the quieter (but still very well-serviced) end of town. The main town is a short walk away and easily reachable for the nights we fancied more activity but we found several restaurants and bars that we were happy with close to the apartment. Inside, the apartment is very well equipped and there are even little touches that make it feel more luxurious and more of a ‘home from home’. Everything inside is clean, modern and extremely attractive. We can’t wait to come back!

We have just returned from a lovely stay at appt Chamois. It is well done out in the space available and lovely bunk beds for the kids. The location is great too as it is a bit quieter than the main centre but still easy to walk or ski to. Philip & Nsee more

Philip & Nikki were very helpful and could sort out ski passes, airport pick up and ski hire so takes all the hassle out if doing it yourself. Would definitely consider coming back next year.

We booked Apartment Chamois for over the New Year period for 2 adults and 2 children. We were not disappointed. The clean, warm, cosy apartment had everything you would need, fully equipped kitchen, comfortable living area with WIFI, TV, DVD player and comfortable beds! The location was central to everything, ski in, ski out which is great when you have children. Nikki, Phillip and their team were excellent. We couldn't ask any more of them, dealing with our very late arrival, having boots, skis and lift passes organised, restaurants recommended, New Year's Eve dinner booked at our request and even a large library of DVDs for the children to use free of charge. Would totally recommend Avoriaz Chalets :-)
