Description
A comfortable and charming 3 star ski in/ski out apartment for 2 to 4 people. Located in the Falaise area in Avoriaz, and facing south, Dahu enjoys spectacular mountain views from its 2nd floor balcony and panoramic windows. Although compact, it's elegant and furnished to a high standard. Relax in really comfortable beds and sofas with carpeting, cozy throws and cushions. With the added benefit of a private ski locker and boot dryers, you can say goodbye to carrying equipment and cold, wet fingers and toes. A wide selection of shops, supermarket, restaurants, ski hire & bakery are all within 50 metres.

The apartment is decorated in a warm and cosy alpine style, with carpeting, plaids and cushions and ample seating for 4 both at the dining table and on the sofas in the living area.The modern, fully integrated kitchen has a multi-function oven including oven, microwave and grill, 2-burner ceramic hob, fridge-freezer, dishwasher, electric kettle, toaster, coffee machine and electric mixer and raclette machine. There is enough crockery, cutlery and glasses for 4 people, as well as a wide range of cooking aids and kitchen utensils. Free tea, coffee, salt, pepper, herbs, foil, dishwasher tablets, cleaning products and toilet paper are provided.

Free fibre-optic Wi-Fi. Flat screen TV with international cable channels, DVD player and free video library with a good selection of films of all genres available in most European languages.

Very cozy appartement. The location was amazing, you can ski in and out the apartment and there are restaurants / supermarket right below. Only downside, a little noisy as everyone walks around with ski boots. However I will definitely go back as I hsee more

I have visited this beautiful apartment on many occasions and have always found it be absolutely perfect. It has everything you need and is in an ideal location; not too far from the town centre, but far enough away to avoid any noise. The apartment see more
I have visited this beautiful apartment on many occasions and have always found it be absolutely perfect. It has everything you need and is in an ideal location; not too far from the town centre, but far enough away to avoid any noise. The apartment has a ski locker next to the hotel entrance and is “ski in, ski out” which is exceptionally helpful (especially after an adventurous day of skiing). The luxurious decor throughout compliments the stunning Alpine scenery, which can conveniently be seen from the balcony of the apartment. This apartment has become a second home for me. I thoroughly enjoy visiting and hope to come back soon.

We stayed at this apartment late FEB 2018. The accommodation was as described, clean, warm, cosy and had all the essentials needed for a comfortable stay. The apartment is located in the Saskia block located at the top part of the town which is short 3 min walk from the Avoriaz town arrivals area.The town centre is an easy 6 min walk and the swimming pool is about 5 mins walk. We didn't need to organise any sleigh lifts such is the ideal location of this apartment. You can Ski out in the morning behind the block onto a green and blue run or ski from the front of the block along a flat area and then onto the green ski run which runs through the centre of the town. The apartment balcony looks over a quiet area of the town where you can sit and watch the world go by or also enjoy the spectacular views of the mountains in the background behind Avoriaz which makes for one of the most scenic and interesting views I have ever had from a hotel balcony. The accommodation was clean and the double bed located in the bedroom was made up and very comfortable. There is plenty of room for storage of clothes, helmets, jackets and also a boot drier/warmer located in the hall way. The towel rail in the bathroom is large and acts as a good backup should you need more space for gloves and hats. The bathroom was comfortable with a shower/bath that had an endless supply of hot water and was welcome after a days skiing. The kitchen area is well equipped and just a side note as I didn't read the welcome book until the last day, the microwave also includes an oven feature.The instructions for which can be found in the blue welcome folder. My two children (5 & 7 yrs) slept on the couches either side of the living area. All that was needed each night was to throw over a duvet and they snuggled down for a nights sleep on the comfortable couches. It was not necessary to put up or assemble a bed (my pet hate after years of caravaning!) as the couches had ample room and would suit anyone including adults. I think this property is perfect for a family of four. The property is located on the second floor and accessible via a lift or easy stairway. The accommodation includes a ski locker in the entrance hallway to the hotel. There are no loud bars near and we could not hear any thumping music at night. Good bakers, food store, patisserie, ski hire all within 30 secs walk. I highly recommend this apartment!

The apartment was very conveniently located within the resort, a short walk from the arrival area and underground carpark, close to ski school, skiing and sledging from the front door, close to a supermarket and restaurants as well as Aquariaz, which was a big hit with the kids. The apartment although small was very well equipped and maintained. Philip, Nikki and their staff were very friendly and welcoming as well as being very knowledgeable about the resort and the wider ski area. We would definitely go back.

My personal preference would be to only have 2 people stay in it, but that is not to say that it was suitably equipped for 4, with space to sit and chill on the sofas and dine at the table. Booking through Avoriaz Chalets was excellent, they were accommodating for our short stary and were extremely helpful with tips for airport transfers etc. Having someone meet you from the shuttle bus was reassuring and a great start to your holiday and finding your feet. Loved the luxury furnishings and high quality finish of the apartment. Ideally located for all amenities and ability to ski down to lifts from outside apartment building. Avoriaz is a fantastic resort, we can't wait to go back and take our son.

Avoriaz is a beautiful purpose built resort and is very family friendly as it is traffic free and you can ski to and from the front door of the apartment. The accommodation was perfect for us. It is the smallest apartment provided by Avoriaz chalets but it had a cosy feel to it and it was a great opportunity to spend quality time with our kids (aged 7 and 9). We took lessons morning and afternoon with ESF which is about a 5-10 minute walk from the apartment or, once you are confident skiing, you can ski directly from the apartment down a green slope to the Proclou lift which brings you back up to the ESF meeting point. The apartment was clean and tidy and had everything we needed for our 6 day stay although it is worth noting there is a mid-week clean for which you have to pay an extra 90 euros on arrival. Phil and Nikki were fantastic quickly answering any questions we had before arriving and Phil was there do meet us on arrival and show us to the apartment which is only 5 minutes from reception. Overall we can't praise the place enough and are looking forward to returning next year!

The apartment location was brilliant - very central and has everything you need near by including a super marker that is well stocked. And you can literally ski out of the door. The apartment it self was lovely - very modern and had excellent facilities. Perfect for 2 people and the champagne upon arrival was amazing. Perfect start to our honeymoon. Everything we needed and more. Philip and Nikki were also fantastic - so helpful and accommodating. We will definitely be returning to this apartment for what will hopefully be another amazing holiday.

Having not snowboarded for a couple of years due to the arrival of our son, we wanted to get away for just a few days to satisfy our snow craving and find somewhere we could potentially bring our son once he is old enough. After much research Avoriaz seemed very family friendly, ideally close to Geneva and being ski-in/out meant we could maximise our 3 days on the slopes. Avoriaz Chalets were prompt in their response to my enquiry and maintained excellent communication throughout the booking process, run up to our arrival and throughout our stay. It was also reassuring to have them on hand in the resort to greet us on arrival and answer any questions during our stay. The apartment itself was exaclty as described and is finished to a very high standard. It has everything you could need for your stay and perfectly located for access to the slopes, shops, waterpark, bars and restaurants. Everything is within a few minutes walk. It was immaculately clean on arrival and had all the essentials, such as toilet roll and dishwasher tablets. The apartment had a romantic feel to it little touches such as the John Lewis bedspread with matching cushions made it feel really luxurious. I would highly recommend this apartment or others from Avoriaz Chalets to anyone. We will definitely be returning to the beautiful resort of Avoriaz with our son in the future and will be using Avoriaz Chalets when we do. Can't say enough good things about our trip - oh and the snow was spot on too :-)

Excellent séjour passé à l’appartement Dahu qui a de nombreux atouts : la localisation au pied des pistes (très proche du rassemblement ESF, un vrai plus quand on a des enfants) mais aussi des commerces et restaurants et le tout, très bien équipé pousee more
Excellent séjour passé à l’appartement Dahu qui a de nombreux atouts : la localisation au pied des pistes (très proche du rassemblement ESF, un vrai plus quand on a des enfants) mais aussi des commerces et restaurants et le tout, très bien équipé pour cuisiner (nous avons apprécié l’appareil à raclette). Nikki a été très accueillante et a réservé pour nous les forfaits, elle a aussi géré la location des skis et chaussures. Bref, une grande réactivité et un service nickel...en pleine période de vacances scolaires. Nous recommandons vivement.

Nous avons passé une excellente semaine à l’appartement Dahu. Il est tout à fait fonctionnel pour une famille de 4 personnes, avec une deco chaleureuse et cosy. Nous l’avons trouvé très bien équipé (le sèche chaussures est vraiment très pratique). Lasee more
Nous avons passé une excellente semaine à l’appartement Dahu. Il est tout à fait fonctionnel pour une famille de 4 personnes, avec une deco chaleureuse et cosy. Nous l’avons trouvé très bien équipé (le sèche chaussures est vraiment très pratique). La localisation de l’appartement dans la résidence Pierre & Vacances Saskia Falaise est impeccable, surtout quand on a des enfants en cours de ski à l’ESF car le rassemblement au Plateau est très proche. Enfin, le professionnalisme et l’accueil de Nikki d’Avoriaz Chalets ont été très appréciables. Elle a réservé pour nous forfaits et packs « skis+chaussures » pour les enfants...d'où un vrai gain de temps pendant les vacances scolaires. En résumé, je recommande fortement Avoriaz Chalets et cet appartement.

C'était notre première fois à Avoriaz et nous y reviendrons avec plaisir. Notre premier contact par mail fut avec Nikki, qui a été d'une incroyable écoute du début à la fin. L'accueil à l'appartement fut par téléphone mais chaleureux due a notre arrivée tardive causé par le mauvais temps. L'appartement est cosy, plutôt petit mais fonctionnel. S'il y avait un souhait à formuler, cela aurait été l'ajout d'une machine à laver. Les + de la station: l'accès aux pistes à 5 minutes à pied. Les commerces et restaurants à proximité. Et la station exclusivement piétonne. A noter que tous les professionnels de cette station de ski (commerçants, profs ESF, restaurateurs..) sont d'une grande gentillesse.
